For the past week my eyes have again fallen on the pc screen for work rather than play. I've finally moved passed the laziness and lack of inspiration and found the Beast (as itelli calls it and I have decided to steal from him now that his is over and done with) needing a lot of attention quickly. It has been neglected for way too long and I find myself way way behind schedule, but at least I'm tackling it now. Sooner is better than later I guess. The new baby is helping a lot, although this whole Windows Vista thingamajig has caused some issues. Such as my printer refusing to work with it (ok - it is rather old and was probably made for Windows 98 or something, but still it works just fine and has never broken down), and my beloved Creative mp3 player and its software too. You would think if you ask for help and telling Creative Support that you have done everything they say on their website, you would get a reply telling you something else, which would actually help, but NOOOOO - just two emails recapturing the same shit over again... And I had to install new firmware on it, which meant all my music was deleted!! I hate technological advances, why can't it all just stay the same - at least for the large percentage of us who aren't comfortable with all of these devices, drivers, ram etc. Ok, I realise that we need these advances, but it pisses me off that so many programs haven't developed compatibility with Vista yet. Most, if not all, new computers come with Vista now (don't get me started on Windows...the bastards) and you would assume that programs that you need for your programs to run smoothly, such as the graphic card drive for example, would run with Vista AS IT CAME WITH THE F*****G PC!!!!!
Ok enough anger for now, its too early for that, at least for me. In an hour or so the carpenter and plumber is arriving (yet again) to have a final look at our kitchen...Last Christmas my man and I moved into our first home together (before that we lived with my parents for half a year...he's brave my baby he is!) and our first flat that whole and solely own ourselves. When we bought the flat we decide to spend some of the money getting a new kitchen, and since I'm not as good with the hammer as I am with a brush and the boy has a full time job, we decided to get someone else to do it ALL. In February they started the work and it all looked good, until the carpenter noticed the counter w the sink in it was all wrong. To make a long tiresome story short: they changed it three times until it finally was the one we ordered! And now its October and they still haven't finished all the bits and pieces, it seems every time they order something new it arrives wrong...We'll just have to see what happens this time. I'm crossing my fingers that's for sure - please do that with me.

On another note ( I guess I have more to tell than I thought...Coooool), I've planted six large and eight small flowerpots with herbs. I was inspired by all the organic talk and thought why not try and see what happens. And now they've all started growing for real, I mean they're tiny still, but at least they are growing. It does help that the only windowsill we have is filled with the little sun we have here up North everyday for at least four hours. I'm excited!! A lot! My own homegrown herbs!

A post full of anger, and at the end a statement about growing your very own herbs...
That should calm u down a bit. At least when they've grown.
They are growing very slowly though...so I won't calm down too much
