Finally I have arisen once more - or in other words 'Honey I'm home!'

That's correct I'm back from my travels and I would tell you all about it, but after telling the wonderful tales over and over the last couple of days I'm tempted to tell the next person that asks me how it was: 'It was crap - OK!'

Of course it wasn't, who could ever be unhappy when surrounded by laidback Southern Europeans? However, when I think about it, most of the people I know from that part of our continental pool are pretty stressed out and not as laidback as you would expect..hmm Well to keep it short it was awesome!! I loved it completely and utterly. Bilbao was beautiful in the sunshine from the second we got of the plane until the morning of our third day, when the sky opened up and it started looking more and more like someone had moved the entire city to Scotland overnight. But as they told us these Bilbos (hihi) at least we can say we've experienced the real Bilbao climate - ha and as we had left a gloomy and wet Oslo behind we didn't really mind until a little bird whispered that the weather there had changed to sunny and way past 25 degrees! The rain gave me a good excuse to drag the man around to all the museums though, which was good!

OH NO - my computer is dying...it's been so good all day and now it decides it's gonna go all flashy on me. Good one I just ordered a new one! For that reason I might have to keep it short for now...

Barcelona was, well Barcelona - which was warm and absolutely worth going back to see. The man said let's save up some money and go for a long weekend in October/November...I thought that was a little too early, but hey it is such a fantastic city that I would easily go back soon. The weather there was glorious and hothothot, which is a good and a bad thing for Northerners as ourselves, but we survived (I have a cold from the aircon, but it is already diminishing in magnitude). I won't bore you with all the details especially because of the pc-issues.

I just wanna say that we were in Spain when that Sevilla football player died, well both of them I guess (something happened to one in Israel too), Antonio Puerta - and I have to say Spanish television are sure quick when it comes to documentaries. The day of his funeral we watched a long show about the past events, it might have seemed longer to me as I didn't understand a word other than muerte. It was a little morbid me thinks so shortly after it all happened they had already put a documentary together, not of his life as you would expect, but of his death.

I also wanna say that being away and touristing we didn't catch up with much news, but when I came back and read about the fires in Greece - what can I say ... shocking! I felt so sad when I read Itelli's blog and the news. How can it be that these people died? Were they not warned? I just don't get it...someone please explain! So meaningless and such a waste. What about the forests, what will happen there, will they be re-planted? Probably not...

On that sad note and my pc troubles starting again..
