I'm going down South tomorrow, well it will be today when you read this. I'm going to England, to Exeter to be exact. Seeing a friend. It will be good to get out of the village for a 'long' weekend. Hopefully the weather won't be against me...I say that, but then I thought from the weather reports the past few days that it would be raining the whole weekend. Now it says it will be sunny...hmm who knows, but I can definitely hope, cross my fingers.

I love this little place, this village of ours. It is my home, for now at least, and the people here are as honest and dishonest as any other city I've been to. It works in the same way as a smaller city, such as my 'real' home town Oslo, with a population of 575,475 (as of 1 January 2009). Each 5 year generation gap produces separate social circles, these sometimes overlap, but mostly stay as groups of friends that hang out together either frequently in pairs or sporadically in 5-10 friend gatherings. This is exactly what happens here. The difference is that you are more likely to meet all of these 'circle' friends every day, and that is to some claustrophobic. To me this is not the case, I like the small town feel and recognising faces you come across walking through the three streets. Yet even I need my privacy, need to see unfamiliar faces. Need to get away. and so I go to Exeter
