If someone was to ask...

...who inspires me today in my arty farty world I would have to say T.J. Clark. His lecture here in the village was very interesting, although on a theme I see as almost dead, Picasso's Guernica. However, in this interview (which is long and if you do not find art theory exciting be prepared for big words), at the very end, Clark is asked about his relationship/opinion about contemporary art. And here his ideas converge with mine so completely and simply I just had to share it with you all.
